Our Founders

The Stellar Rise Foundation was created by people who understand what it means to rebuild.

At the heart of this organization are two people who didn’t just witness struggle, they lived it.

Our co-founder, Tayla, spent years navigating instability while raising five children on her own. Her journey began much earlier, shaped by significant hardship in her teenage years and early adulthood, including trauma and struggles with addiction that she ultimately overcame. Those early experiences forged a deep resilience that carried into motherhood, where she faced the constant pressure of providing for her family without a safety net. There were long seasons where everything felt uncertain, where stability felt out of reach...but she kept going. She rebuilt her life step by step, often in the quiet, unseen moments...choosing growth over old patterns, choosing responsibility even when it was overwhelming, and choosing her children again and again no matter the circumstances. Through resilience, hard decisions, and an unwavering commitment to her family, she created stability where there once was none. Over time, that foundation became something greater. What began as survival turned into momentum, and eventually into creation. She built a successful service-based business from the ground up, not only as a means of providing for her family, but as a reflection of everything she had overcome. Today, her journey stands as proof that transformation is possible, and that stability, once built, can become a foundation for helping others rise as well.

Our co-founder, Michael, walked a parallel path. His early adulthood was marked by homelessness, mental health struggles, and addiction. He experienced long periods of chaos that could have easily defined the outcome of his life. But they didn’t. Through recovery, rebuilding, and a commitment to long-term change, he created stability in every area of his life and developed a deep understanding of how difficult it is to start over without real support. More recently, Michael experienced a profound personal loss, losing his partner of seven years. Tyler had been a central part of his life and his journey. Tyler was a shining beacon of goodness, of gentle love, and a radiatory point of light. In the aftermath of this loss, Michael spent a year living on the road, traveling across the country, camping often and living out of his car, working to process that loss and find his way forward. What followed was a deep period of grieving and rebuilding...emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. That experience reshaped him and strengthened his commitment to living with purpose.

This foundation is, in many ways, a tribute to his memory, carried forward through the work of helping others find stability, healing, and a path forward when everything feels uncertain with that same exuberant light that Tyler carried into so many people's lives.

The founders have known each other for over 20 years. In many ways, they grew up side by side and walked through those fires at the same time...each facing their own battles, but understanding the weight of what the other was carrying.

They didn’t come from stability—they learned how to build it on their own.

And once they reached it, they made a decision: to turn back and help others who are still trying to find their way out. They came together and decided that their purpose would be to use what they built to create opportunities for others who are still working to rebuild their lives.

The Stellar Rise Foundation exists to provide real, practical support: safe and clean living environments, access to employment, and systems that help people move forward with dignity and stability.

Because when people are given the right support at the right time, lasting change becomes possible.

I rose from silence, scars, and steel screws in my skull.

I’ve detoxed in basements, cried in courtrooms, and felt invisible in recovery rooms.

Now I clean homes with compassion.

And I’m building futures with love.

I made it out.

Now I’m building the bridge for someone else.
